GN Resound is a Danish company established in 1943. It is now a public company. They are well known for feedback reduction technology, reducing the amount of ‘whistling’ from a hearing aid. This enabled Resound to create the first open-fit hearing aid in 2003 called the Resound AIR. Their UK base is outside Oxford.
