When buying a hearing aid in Manchester or Cheshire, the following sections will help you to decide what options are available to you. It is helpful to me if you are familiar with some of the decisions we will make together after I have performed a full Hearing Assessment (or re-assessment). All hearing aids can be considered. Lifestyle requirements are as important as the degree and type of hearing loss.
Hearing aids use digital technology. That means they are individually programmed, using a computer, to your hearing and lifestyle. They can be adjusted and modified by myself at any time. They adjust automatically to the environment you are in, but can have additional programs for you to switch to as you require.
If you decide to try a hearing aid from me you will return for fitting in 7 – 10 days. The aids will be fitted using the latest objective techniques and you will have a trial period of at least 4 weeks during which the aids can be adjusted to better suit your needs.
If that particular hearing aid does not fit your requirements after a trial period, we are able to trial a different device for the same period.
Full payment for the service is only taken when the aid has been fitted and we are both completely satisfied that the best possible outcome has been achieved.
